Photographer's Note

Encouraged by your kind words, another picture fro Nizwa, taken gathered with a teacher. What I found interesting are the books that the woman and the girl have. We can see that kids are learning the Arabic script. Some years ago I bought such a book somewhere in the Middle East and then practised writing Arabic. But without the contact for a few years, I forget it again. But still, I can write my name :).

Two more photos in the Workshop. I like most the young warrior photo.

Hello Malgo,
What else than Arabic script should they be learning? ;-)
It's always fun to watch happy children having fun or learning things, and it's nice to see these kids so well dressed. The portrait of the young warrior in the WS is very nice too.

Hello Malgo,

These children, and the teacher, are dressed very traditionally! There are similarities to the village school that I visited in Pakistan, the children seated on the floor sharing equipment except these children look to be dressed more affluently and the class number is much smaller!
It's a fine insight into the learning process.
In your w/s, the little girl's eyes are huge! She may be very beguiling when she grows up!

Ciao Malgo,beautiful photos again and many good memories for us. Speaking of your notes, I remember a photo I posted with a man who wrote letters for illiterate people, and he was also available to make pictures with the names of tourists in Arabic. The children look very cute on all three pictures.
In your main photo we can see that they have the advantage of being able to study in a small class group. It's also nice that boys and girls are in the same class.
And yes, I also like the young warrior very much.

Swietna seria zdjec z tymi dziecmi. Szkoda tylko, ze w tym poscie nie napisalas jak sie tam znalazlas. To byl prywatny dom, szkola? Ale i tak egzoycznosc miejsca, kultury bardzo mi sie podoba i chetnie ogladam

It is allways good to see children learning and it is nice to see boys an girls together in an islamic country.It is not allways nice to photograph people from above, but here it is OK and works for your composition.

Hello, you had the great opportunity to visit that school. Nice picture of interior. The pupils are studying sat on mats. I like their traditional clothes. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

The girl with the green veil seems a little soft, but the girls with the red veils are in sharp focus. Mybe a higher shutter speed and bigger dof? The circle arrangement of the attentive students is nice. Tfs!
