Photographer's Note
Main street of ancient Hierapolis, Pamukkale.
Taken shortly before sunset. Curiously no tourist left, although this is the best time to visit the place.

Hello Jelle,
This is a fabulous shot of the Hierapolis, with the lines of the roadway all converging at a single-vanishing point on the horizon line (one-point perspective). The dim light of the hour nonetheless creates beautiful pastel colors in the sky. On the negative side, the definition (sharpness) is a bit soft, but that could be because of the subdued light, and the longer hand-held exposure.
Warm regards from Virginia, USA.

Looks empty but full to me. There is history in it. Background could be a little saturated. TFS.

Hi Jelle,
Nice positioning with the various lines / elements leading you into the image and wondering 'what's behind the ruin'.
A little sharpening and an increase in saturation for the sky might improve things. A good shot though considering the light was fading.
TFS.
Best Regards,
Malc.
