Photographer's Note
Every now and then, I like to upload a picture from up there... 33 000ft. above sea level... The low part of the picture is in Elazig province, and the upper part in Tunceli province... The fields we see belong to the town of Pertek, as I found out on Google Earth...

Hello Laurent,
Nice idea and excellent picture. I get the impression that this is painted because of the colours and texture. The view from above is almost always very pretty and in this case the colour of the water add a nice touch to the view. Thanks Laurent.

Salut Laurent

Amicalement,

Hi Laurent, that's a very clear photo despite the layered window of the aircraft. I guess, the weather conditions helped you a lot. What we see below is the Keban Dam Lake, which was built on the Euphrates River. Thanks for sharing, Tolga

Salut Laurent
Tu pourrais concurencer Google Earth.

Bonsoir Laurent,
It's as if I'm using Google Earth, but then with a better quality. Great to follow the coastlines and to see the small islands. The relief of the mountain landscape is also wonderfully visible. Impressive view, thanks for sharing!

Hi Laurent!
Great capture taken frm a plane. You have been luck to have such a clean window. The exposure is very good.I like this geological formation and the turquoise water.
When i flew over Turky, nearly 3 weeks ago I´ve seen a lot of snow and it looked great, too.

there is one thing I like about such photographs from you. despite the glass on the airplane your photographs do not lose anything from its quality. the view is excellent. you are a bit lucky because the weather allowed you to take the shot. I appreciate also how you search for it and discover from google earth after taking the photo. I hope one day you arrive to Turkey too

Hi Laurent. Very clear aerial photo showing far more details than could be expected. You get some very good results with that canon with sigma lens, good combination it seems. Good colour across the field of view. TFS. Murray.

Really good clarity and sharpness considering the relatively slow shutter speed. f/14 was unnecessary since focus is at infinity. Colors and composition are very nice. Fine work, Laurent. Regards,

Hi Laurent
Another excellent sky shot from you. The clarity is just excellent & it's always great to see that you get 'clean' windows & no reflections in these aerial shots. The details, the reliefs, the delta & the towns are wonderful.
Best Regards

Bonjour Laurent!
Amicalement.

He he , such a precise location positioning, if only all TE members paid such immaculate attention to where their photos are taken, I belive you are quite accurate, this looks like the artificial lake created by Keban dam, unique perspective, and excellent aereal quality.
