I started walking towards the mosque to photograph the main mosque of Van. Before reaching the main mosque and passing the intersection, looking to my right, I saw this small mosque on the side street and went to it. This post shows a photo of that smaller mosque.
Van
Van (Istanbul Turkish: Van) (Kurdish: Wan), the largest city in eastern Turkey, is the capital of Van Province. Van is one of the historic cities of Turkey with a population of 361,163 people, which today has reached about 600,000 people.
The city is bounded on the north and west by Lake Van, on the east by the high mountains of Siah Kuh and Erk, and on the south by Mount Artus.
The people of this city speak Kermanji Kurdish and it has minorities of Turkmens, Turks and Armenians.
The city is world famous for its white furry cats with one blue eye and another yellow, which are known as bathtubs. Van Castle, Akhtamar Island, the Holy Church, the pier and the Edremit area are other tourist attractions in this city. In addition, Van breakfasts are one of the most important cultures in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey.
Van is also the name of a lake to the east of Van. The lake has turned blue due to its large volume of salts and has attracted many tourists.
One of the old villages in the northern suburbs of Van, which is now part of the city, is the village of Shahbagh, which is an area with many gardens. Wikipedia

Good angle and perspective with this street and overall the view of the mosque, nice effect with this light, a bit pity with these cars in the Fg, but it was like that ...

Hello Ali-,
I have visited Van twice and spent a few nights here. I remember it as a quite nice city, although in the 1970's it was still fairly small. I don't remember this street, of course, but it's a nice composition with the mosque seen in front of the rough mountainside and with the street full of cars in the foreground.

this is very good. I know there are lots of cars in the lower fg, but its the bg and the subjects in the depths of the scene that make it so interesting. love seeing these true to life inner city street scenes, lots of activity. excellent light striking the Mosque too. cheers

Hi Ali,
I usually prefer more postcard like photos with the main subject without much disturbance but I know most people prefer to see some real life context like the street here. It surely provides a better feeling of the place. Nice mosque, well lit, I wonder whether you got closer to it in the end,

Hello Ali,
An excellent view of the city from a good viewpoint and in a good vertical composition. I really like how we can follow the busy road into the city and towards the dome and minaret of the mosque, which both stand out so well from the rocky hill.
