This was the best I could manage almost without anyone in the picture..

An obelisk (Greek ὀβελίσκος [obeliskos], diminutive of ὀβελός [obelos], "needle") is a tall, narrow, four-sided, tapering monument which ends in a pyramidal top. Ancient obelisks were made of a single piece of stone (a monolith). Alaettin,
I like the way you have balanced the obelisk with the trees. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail. You managed to frame the obelisk nicely with the trees.

hello my old friend Alaettin ..the European in Australia..first i am glad to have your news..and second this foto is the prove that your photographic language is superb ..excepted the classic way of standing..here the monument is very alive sitting in frond of the viewer, with best way using the sun light...one simple and astonish presentation...i like to say i waiting more of your fotos...2 in a month if you don't have time like me..but you have a great photograph instinct ...many merhaba my friend

Merhaba sevgili dostum Alaettin,
Sagolasin, varolasin... Siz dostlarim sayesinde ayaga kalktim ve bilgisayar basina oturabildim... Eski fotograflarini karistirirken, 20 Eylül 2007 tarihli bir kritigim dikkatimi cekti. Orada 'kismetse önümüzdeki sene görüsmek üzere' diyorum... Evet görüstük fakat... Her neyse...
Istanbul, Sultanahmet'ten harika bir manzara... Görmüs ve bizlere yansitmissin...
