Photographer's Note
The Phrygians migrated from the southern Balkans across the Hellespont (Dardanelles) into western Anatolia and established a kingdom from 1200 BC to 700 BC, taking advantage of the power vacuum created after the fall of the Hittites around 1200 BC. They brought many customs from Greece such as music, a written language, religion and a fondness for creating an Acropolis, which this track leads to, offering a nice view of the unfinished monument in Midas City. I will load it as a workshop later.

Chris, that hill was a strategic position in the past to anticipate attacks. The elevated point offers a stunning view of the lemon green landscape. A fascinating site full of history. The white flowers are well included in the fg. Fine colors, good sharpness, instructive photo note, regards.

Hello Chris,
Both photos are very interesting and give us glimpses of one of the incredibly many treasures of ancient cultures found in Turkey. The surrounding scenery is beautiful too. Probably not many foreign tourists have found their way here - not even I ;-).

Gert

Hello Chris,
Beautiful photos of this landscape that is the backdrop of a rich history that goes back to far before our era.
The erosion of the rocks is evidence of this long history.
Excellent work
Have a nice Sunday, groet Rob

Bonjour Chris,
L'étendue de l'endroit donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails d'une partie des ruines de l'Acropolis de la ville de Midas. La lumièere met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hello Chris,
A beautiful landscape, where lots of green is nicely alternated with beautifully shaped rocks. The sunlight was also at its best and rendered the colours appealing and natural. Very well done.
