Photographer's Note
View of one of Turkey's most photographed beach, from a perspective only accessible by walking, Ölüdeniz, meaning dead sea as in dead clam, and nowadays almost dead polluted, seen from the walking path linking the abandoned greek village of Levissi to sea level at the lagoon. This is a quite bad stitch of 3 portrait format frames taken with 28mm lens. I had posted a similar but single frame photo when I first joined this site. Now I think I must go there with my new digital camera, and 10mm lens, when the mountain at left, Babadagi, is covered in snow in winter, which would make a much prettier photo. I DID a tandem paraglide off that mountain the following year, but unfortunately I was too afraid of dropping the camera so I did not take it with me, only a crappy digital one. (That Photo will be added to workshop)

Beautiful shot of what seams to be a wonderful place. It reminds me of a very similar place in Portugal, south of Lisbon. Your POV is very good and the colours are superb. Very well done.

Well Tan I must say congrats to you for both photos taken. The workshop has a real dramatic effect with your shoes hanging in the frame. This photo shows the lush greenery and reveals very deep blue tones which makes this an attractive place. I do have a thought on cropping some of the greenery out and show more of the beach. That would mean carrying another lens up too. I hate hiking up steep hills with alot of camera gear. Excellent presentation Tan..thanks for sharing!

Great shot! Excellent color harmony with the grey, blues and greens. POV is nice, I like that it feels a bit aerial, like a view while hang-gliding :) Thanks for sharing.

Good shot Tan - wonderful scenery & colours. The workshop view is great too, I can certainly understand your reluctance to bring your good camera on that particular trip!

Hi Tan
Gorgeous postcard view of this photogenic place. As you say, the stitching isn't perfect but this barely detracts from the fabulous scene. I love the WS too - very novel POV!!!

I like this landscape, with the sweeping curves of the shoreline giving this a unified shape, and providing a kind of framework for the forests and mountains. The stitch is really only visible in the sky, other than that it looks great!

Hej Tan,
The trees and their pleasant green colours that surround that lovely blue lagoon are great. The composition with that mountain at the left hand side is also very good. Well done!

Hi Tan,
This is a very different kind of blue than you see flying over Rotterdam on a cloudy day. That bluish colours can’t be compared with this deep blue lagoon cutting into the green landscape.

Hi Tan. That picture you took while paragliding is a riot! That looks really cool. I think you did a commendable job of saving this one and as usual you've got some whopping colors and saturation. That deep blue reminds me of Crater Lake. Fantastic shot Tan!

Hi Tan,
Polluted or not, the hues and tones are alluring. The foreground is well proportioned, and I like how the vegetation is so lush on the right and rather barren on the left. Taken from a superb vantage point, it would indeed be interesting to see this scene in winter. Well captured.

Merhaba Tan,
Ölüdenizin bu açıdan çekilmiş bir fotoğrafını hiç görmemiştim.
Gerçi şaşırmamak lazım.Böyle güzel bir manzarayı çekmek için senin gibi bir manzara ustasına ihtiyaç var.

Hi Tan.
This Turkish beach reminds me a lot those of the Greek neighbour. Your composition combines both the wonderful colors of the landscape and the incredible geometry of the shoreline.
Thanks for sharing this Aegean marvel!
