Morning at Pugwash Point, a photo from Nova Scotia, Atlantic

Photographer's Note

There are many salt water farms in Nova Scotia, since you can't get more than 35 miles from the ocean and there are 4000 miles/6400 Km of coastline in this province. At Mundell Farms diversification is the key to survival. The family has a dairy farm, maintains the lighthouse for Pugwash harbor and supplies propane.

While the south shore of Nova Scotia is full of granite harbors, the northern shoreline is protected by Prince Edward Island with long tidal flats.

la forme et la couleur des maisons ne laissent aucun doute sur la provenance de la photo. Bien cadrée, avec suffisamment de recul, un joli ciel, la scène ne manque pas de charme.

Beautiful panoramic view at Pugwash Point. Beautiful warm glow of the light, dramatic cloud formation and the soft blue sky, the light house and barnes bathing in this morning light adds so much charm to the atmosphre and lovely composition.

Hello Pat,

In a hurry I took the lighthouse for a church..!
Anyway it is the first time I see a farm with its own lighthouse hehehe...
I'm trying to figure out what they are growing here, but my best guess is grass!
And the magnificent cloud formation draws attention...

Hello Pat,
nice the view of this flat place with the dairy farm to dominates the place.I like the light management as the contrast of the red colour of the doors with the green grass.

Hi Pat,
What a great spot for a dairy farm with the cool moist breezes adding a bit of thickness to the grass.
Love the contrast between the green fields and the soft blue sky.
Love those dramatic clouds and you can beat having a light house on the premises.
