Photographer's Note
This weekend I participated in a 60km walk for an event called The Weekend to End Breast Cancer.
We happened to come across a Street Chalk artist that had drawn this on the sidewalk.
The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation announced that 4565 Walkers raised $14,700,000, in The Weekend to End Breast Cancer benefiting Princess Margaret Hospital.
Funds raised for this two-day 60 kilometre walk for breast cancer, benefit Princess Margaret Hospital, which is a leader in the fight against cancer and the largest institution in Canada exclusively devoted to cancer treatment, research, and education.
The millions raised surpass last year’s record making this event once again the most successful multi-day fundraising event in Canadian history. The third annual Weekend to End Breast Cancer is already planned for September 9-11, 2005.
It was a very emotional and incredible experience.

Hi Pam - We are very proud of you to accomplish this enormous task. Not only walking so far, for so many other people's benefit, but the great effort you put into raising so much money for research to help save peoples lives.
Mum, Dad, Linda and Tinka.
The photo is great too, and so is the artist!

Congratulations, Pamela - all of your ways of being involved in this effort have my highest respect, starting with raising way more money than you had planned to, and all the way up to participating in the walk. This photo is a simple, but poignant tribute to commemorate the subject matter. Well done, take care.

Hi Pam,
as a Plastic surgeon myself I know the steps of this illness and the condition of the patients pretty much. I am very touched by your sensibility; and your extraordinary talent in photography seems to be a bonus ! Nice frame, nice theme, keep up the good work
