Photographer's Note
I was looking at this symetrical reflection and was hesitating when suddenly i've tried to rotate it 180°, I found it more appealing like this whit the upside down, so I decided to leave it this way, hope you like it.

It's a very nice picture, the reflection is well captured and the colors are good even if the contrast is not great. I would have preferred to see it "normal" though on this site. A rotation of 180° could be considered too much post-processing...

Good idea, Pierre, and I don't think it's too much post-processing as I've seen it done a couple of times on TE. Of course it only works because you got the perfect symmetry in your catch, and you did well selecting your motif for this purpose with the white house framed by the two trees. Colors are great; perhaps contrast could be touched up a bit.

Very interesting effect Pierre, I have to admit!
If it wasn't for the title, I would have thought the water was perfectly still and the reflection perfect - which is strange having a blurred captured above! ;-D

Sometimes you can see more in a reflection than you can see in reality! Perfectly portrayed here. Excellent photo.

Bravo Pierre

You could have fooled me, Pierre, and if it wasn't for the slight blur in the (reflected) white building, you would have. But on the other hand, in this way it shouldn't be too perfect. I guess what makes this image so good is the framing with two relatively large trees, thus making great reflections in the calm water. Well seen and well done!

A great photo, Pierre, and rotating it makes it even more interesting. It is one of the best examples of symmetry that I have seen here. Beautiful colours. Well done.

Turning it upside down makes you wonder which is important or the main subject. Is it the reflection or the real image. And which is better; And Pierre, turning it upside down also makes you, as if looking up from inside the water.

Clear colors with strong perspective lines to the center enforced by the reflection to the house. Unusual POV Pierre.

Hi Pierre, playing with our cognition, are you? And I like it. You choose the right deep & almost symmetrical compo and the right & elementary colourplay (just two colours), and the white building as a centre piece to make this really work. Very fine job!

One of those photos that all we wished to have the opportunity to capture... and with a genius like the one to invert taking advantage of it its perfect reflection.
With a very accurate frame, colorful wonderful and a great sharpness and depth.
Thanks for sharing with us.

Many times I also have this feeling. What I like the most it's that it converted the supposingly real part into a painting.
If you want to increase this feeling try to crop half of the "reflection" in the bottom part of the photo and almost half of the tree in the left. It gets very interesting... :-)
