Beautiful landscape! The rock formations are indeed very interesting. I love those round and organic shapes. And also like the way you’ve captured them by taking advantage of the low sun which has enhanced the shapes by contrasting light and dark parts.
In fact that adds a lot to the three-dimensional effect of the photo created by the contrast of the bulky foreground with the far, plane horizon. Good use of the reflexion and POV. In terms of improvements, I can only think of a little bit more sharpness to enhance the details of the rocks.

Hi David,
Wonderful and original landscape and so beautifully captured. Sharpness is excellent. Great colours as well and harmonious composition. I like particularly the reflection of those strange rocks on water.
Nice job!

Hi David,
I like your picture but I`m confused by one thing: how big or small is actually the rock?
You did a very good job regarding the point of view, the colors and the frame.
I like the sharpness and the good contrast, too.
Nice job, indeed.

Nice composition, in wich you're know how using the light. It's just miss a crab or a little animal, as a detail, to compare with the size of the rock... or for the fun.

Jean-Claude

Hello David ! Beautiful this is and I would not have thought to find something like this in BC. Good you went down deep showing us the reflections ... I hope you stayed dry. Amazing how the water formed this piece of rock, digging all these "bubbles" into the stone. Well done. Barbara.

Great shot David and welcome to TrekEarth!
It's nice to see another British Columbian joining TrekEarth. I like the composition and the levels- excellent. Good amount of detail. I don't recall seeing any of these formations any where else in BC...
All the best!

Hi David, stunning! The composition is just perfect. The light conditions are exactly right to show all the negative bubbels in the stone and seeing it twice throught the reflections is a freebie. The rock on the right leads gently into the seawater. Very good start at TE. Welcome to the community and keep posting and writing critiques.

Nice coastal scene David. The balanced composition is very good. The way who split the scene left to right is very good with that water flow running in the middle. The exposure is spot on and the detail amazing. That lens is really a marvel. And you know how to handle it quite well. Thanks

Love the way you got down low here. The reflection gives the rock formation more height, and the point of view makes me imagine like maybe this is an amazing moutain range. I can see myself walking down by the water. The lighting and contrast is superb too, the shaddows really show off the detail in the rock formations.

Excellent picture, for so many things : the framing (the curving effect of the water around the rock), the rock with all these holes, like a giant piece of emmenthal cheese, the reflexion on the small pond of shallow water in the foreground and the colorfull sky in the background. Thanks for sharing,
Emmanuel

Very good natural shot, don't looking fake or over-saturated like 90% of the pictures on TrekEarth. JS
