Photographer's Note
My last 2 images on TE were of the horrendous forest fires in the interior of British Columbia, Canada, in the summer of 2003. The second of those pics showed a water bomber - one of a bunch of them that had been flown over from Quebec to help control the raging fires. Here you see how they skim the water of the lake, taking in thousands of liters of water, then lifting off, never stopping, to then "bomb" the fire.
It has taken me far too long to work out how to create this triptych. It seemed impossible in PS Elements, but I found some software in a CD attached to a British digital photography magazine. I would have liked to add some borders, but didn't want to push my luck!
