Photographer's Note

Percé (2006 Population 3,419) is a small village near the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec. As a municipality, it is 432.39 square km in area. It has a long history of being an important seasonal fishing centre under the French. In the 18th century, the area became the most important fishing location on the Gaspé Peninsula[citation needed] for the European settlers after Charles Robin, a native of Jersey, began his fishing establishment. Old buildings serving as infrastructure for the Charles Robin Company can still be seen; however, today the area is mainly a tourist location particularly well-known for the attractions of Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island.

You show us a nearly breathtaking and most interesting view here. What a sight! This phenomenon of the clouds over the rock face really is eyecatching. Because of the excellent quality of your photo one can detect a lot of details here. One is able "to hike with the eyes..."

Pascal,
This is a fantastic place and you have captured it beautifully. Your composition is great showing the village in the foreground with the stark rock in the background. The cloud hangs wonderfully on the mountain adding a look of mystery for the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

J'ai déjà vu des photos de ce lieu sur TE . Il semble assez extraordinaire . Ici , la vue est de toute beauté . Avec ce nuage sur la Roche . Et puis les maisons au toits rouges sur fond d'herbe verte . On dirait presque une maquette .

Bonjour Pascal,
un POV bien chois pour mettre en valeur un des plus beaux coins maritimes qui soit.
Des verts magnifique et un rocher qui en jette.
Ce nuage de brume est le point fort de cette photo qui la distingue de toutes celles prises au même endroit.

Bonjour pascal,

je dois me rendre au Quebec en septembtre/octobre et plus particulièrement en Gaspesie et je commence a chercher des sites photogéniques,et je crois que j'ai trouvé la bonne adresse en parcourant ta galerie,cette photo est vraiment tres belle avec ce leger nuage qui s'accroche a la fameuse roche.

Avec le nuage qui s'accroche sur l'île ça donne un effet surréaliste que j'aime beacoup ! Et les maisons avec la verdure autour à un côté miniature, comme des jouets pour enfant :-)

Bonjour Pascal
La lumière est superbe et fait ressortir les colours des maisons si mignonnes. En plus la clarité contraste fortement avec le brouillard qui arrive sur la falaise.
