Autumn's morning, a photo from Quebec, Central

I guess this one is for Pascal ;)

This picture was taken at a retreat last autumn, I woke up a bit late and the fog has started to lift.

I have added a bit of Gaussian blur. I think it needs a good frame but I am so bad at it, any takers? :D

J'adore, Thien. Vu le traitement informatique, je parlerais plus d'oeuvre artistique que de photographie au sens "réel" du mot, mais qu'à cela ne tienne: le résultat est d'une grande beauté.

Fantastic shot, well done!! Maybe the stony shore at the left could be cropped a bit and more of the lake could be taken into sight from the right so that the boats are at the left half of the shot. Congratulations!!

I like this very much. I think the gaussian blur was a good idea, even though now it looks more like a paint than a photo!

What a peace! Your technique added the effect of fog already existing if I understood well your note? I am allowed invade by your photo and this atmosphere produces at home a peace, a relaxation. Very beautiful well composed photo.
Quelle paix! Votre technique a ajouté l'effet de fog déjà existant si j'ai bien compris votre note? Je me laisse envahir par votre photo et cette atmosphère produit chez moi un calme, une détente. Très belle photo bien composée.

This really is a masterpiece!
Just the right amount of light to bring out the colour in the trees and create their beautiful reflection. And the mist!!
The composition is perfect and I think the rocky shore adds to the shot. I wouldn't change a thing.
Congratulations on a wonderful shot!

I love the atmosphere of the shot. Even through the mist we can still see the beautiful colours of the trees. There is good detail in the boats and pier. Well done.

What a beauty foggy scene. It make the color so soft and carefull. Almost got a feeling of a 3D by the "behavior" of the stones and trees. Like the way the fogg is making no border between the water and the sky. Must have been really beautiful to be there this morning. Really like it Thien!

Tres belle réussite, mais à ma grande surprise le workshop de Charmante m`a beaucoup plu aussi...

Je vous donne 2 points(ce qui est trop peu pour tout ca) et je me souhaite de réussir quelque chose de semblable ...un jour.

A wonderfully atmospheric shot. The soft tones and the blurring effect work really well together.
Quite simply a shot that I would be more than happy to have on the wall at home.
Personally, I don't think it needs a frame. Don't mess with a shot of this quality.

You post a photo so rarely Thien, but worth waiting for! Very atmospheric and dreamy. I wonder if brushing those golden leaves on far left with yellow in saturation mode would do anything interesting?...or maybe you just like to leave things natural (me, I'm always trying to gild lilies!)

There's no need for a frame here, it would be a pity if the look was disturbed. Your composition is excellent, one of the best I saw on TE. As already said, a piece of art.

I swim in the fog by looking at this excellent composition. Framing is perfect and work is well done.
