Photographer's Note

There is a trail south of Whistler called the Cheakamus Trail that borders the Cheakamus River. This is also the same trail that features some of the largest first growth trees in the Whistler area.
I took this photo to show the delicate forest floor in this park. Behind these trees you can see a small glimpse of the glacial Cheakamus Lake. Again absolute silence as you wander through this trail. This is one of the most enjoyable hikes that is filled with the wonder of natural forest. In the workshop you will see a photo of me standing beside a huge cedar. Enjoy!
