Photographer's Note
Maya village, Coba, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
While I deciding on the next photographs from Yellowstone national park, wanted to share this picture from our travel to Mexico.
When visiting Maya village nearby Coba (capital and big trade and cultural city of ancient Maya), we had a nice performance that welcomed us to Mexico, to Maya village.
This particular dance of Maya Peai, his assistants, musicians and dancers was dedicated to our stay, to the good weather and wonderful spirit that suppose to protect and take care of us during our stay.
The performance was great, overwhelming as one can see the dedication on the faces of Peai and little kids that were performing for us.
Enjoy,
Mike :-)

Hi Mike,
Always nice to see performers of traditional music. Also to location seems to be quite authentic. Colourful costumes look good too. Your framing looks a bit tight though.

Traditional customs are not easy to comprehand by a photo, Mike, but well rendered.
I can imagine the flute played.
Nice ambiance well rendered.
