One of the imposing Mayan constructions of Tulum, perched on the cliff facing the sea. Tulum is one of the rare Mayan sites located along the coast, more often the Mayan sites were built inland and now among lush tropical vegetation .

I suppose its location next to the coast makes it more accessible for the tourists who spend most of the time on the beach.

My daughter went to Mexico in her late teens and stayed in the complex all the time, just see what she missed!!

Bonjour Jean,
C'est en effet le seul temple Maya que j'ai vu sur la côte. Tous les autres se trouvaient quelque part au fond des forêts du Yucatan.
Belle présentation sous un bon angle et avec cet arbre tropical maigre au coin.
