Volcano Sunset, a photo from Mexico, Central Highlands

Photographer's Note

I took this photograph of Popocatepetl after returning to Puebla from Oaxaca. This was one of the most stunning sunsets I saw in Mexico.

Popocatepetl is an active volcano (note the volcanic ash coming out of it here) and is the second highest peak in Mexico after el Pico de Orizaba.

Belle photo de cette montagne au ciel superbe,jolies couleurs et bonne netteté.Ces différents ton dans le ciel en font une belle peinture.

Hi Elizabeth,
Beautiful sunset on half cloudy weather. And the volcano is a special landmark, good to be included. I'd say backlight has fooled exposure meter and made this slightly underexposed. Some of the dark foreground could be cropped off.
