Photographer's Note
This is another area of the grounds that made me think of Hobbits both from descriptions in the book and visual imagery in the films. Natural yet carefully manicured.
The path winds along the banks of the Rouge River just seen off to the right. If you look closely in the distance in you can see more of the flat stones used throughout the grounds. The grounds have been restored to their former beauty through careful work bringing back the natural yet controlled environment.
In the distance, behind the trees, can be seen the top of Henry Ford's Hydroelectric Powerhouse that supplied all electricity for the mansion and grounds.

The small way which curves surrounded of flowers, d'arbres, of fir tree, c'est the spring which s'éveille. The colors are soft and natural. Thank you for the note also. Very well Paul.

Nice composition with the curving path leading us half way into the picture. The top of the private powerstation is a nice diectional detail in this pic and in your series. This estate is really nice - the structures such as the path and the terracing in one of your previous pic gives nature ample choice to do it's own exurbant thing. Colours and sharpness are again spot on. Nice job, Paul.

Nice winding path with limestones, Paul. The grounds are beginning to look at their best now, with all the green returning and the flowers in bloom. Your "beloved" powerhouse partly hidden in the vegetation gives an idea of what the original design was aiming for. Too bad the sky is a bit washed out. Otherwise a nice shot.

Very good composition, with this way which makes us visit the picture, thanks to a good depth of field with a great clearness, the colors are pleasant.
It is a right shame which the sun is not there.
great shot Paul, congratulation.

I like the idyllic feel of the photo and it's an inviting place for a Sunday walk. The S-curve path is nicely positioned in the photo and leads your eyes around the bushes. It's a pity the sky is overcast.
