Time Square at night, a photo from New York, Northeast

Photographer's Note

My boss told me: "When you'll be in New York, check out Time Square at night... there are a lot of taxis and limos."

He was right. After attending a show on Broadway, I went out on the street and took this picture.

I think it represents very well the enjoyable chaos of Manhattan.

I prefer some motion-blured cars to show the movement

Nice shot. A good capture of the bright ligts and reflections. I think the slight tilt hepls give a dynamic feel to the image.

The lights, the noise, the people, the cars, the cement, the neon, the shops, the taxis.... where else could this be but Times Square. Well shot Patrick- you truly did capture the essence of the place.
The tilted angle really does compliment the shot.

Acutally other than the chaos (added to theme), the absolute sharpness of all things really disturbs me, too much unviewable details in modern living despite shapr vision. Would be good to soften the image with use of DOF and motion blurring to give the humaneye some soothe.
