Central station, NY.
5 Seconds exposure made everyone moving blur out, except that couple checking this place out. This is dedicated to them. Without knowing it, they just made my day by not moving. I used the rail as a tripod, since security there didn't allow me to use a real treipod (go figure...)

Hey Gilad,

Great shot, I admit I was a little on edge about this shot until I read the note. It all makes sense now. How often few people take 5 seconds from their day and do anything, the world is too busy to fast to take in beauty.

Very nice photo. The long exposure shows how busy we are. Everybody runs for some reason except the couple in the middle!!! Very nice composition.

It's hard to get people who don't move for 5 seconds, but getting them just in the perfect place for a poetic compo is very lucky... but I guess that sort of luck only happens to photographers who really know what they're doing...

You got some luck on this one...5 seconds are a lot of time! But also, the distance + the focal length helped here that even if they moved a bit, it was undetectable and thus you got them tack sharp...

Composition is well balanced and symmetrical! Exposure control is excellent too!

There is a lot of Grand Central Station photos in TE, but this one is really good. The 17mm helps to show it in a widely way, and it is plenty of light. And of course, the best, this couple been so nice with you, without knew... you are a lucky man!

I like this alot, its not just that they didn't move for five seconds, but their body language really show them taking in the whole scene. Cheers.
