Photographer's Note
We were showing New York City to my cousin from Scotland and I almost didn't go to the top of the Empire State Building with him since I had been so many times before. My mother enouraged us to go and I'm glad we did - it's a completely different experience at night!
That said, the security staff had me remove my photo vest and would not x-ray it, but had me empty every item pockets (which took several minutes). The pushiness put me in a defensive mood for the next 5 minutes ruining part of the trip - my wife wouldn't talk to me for the next 3 hours.

Nice balance between light and dark -- having some key NYC landmark buildings helps to give it that NY feel.
