This was taken the same day as my last one, in the morning. i croped a little off the sides, added sepia tone and a border.

A nice piece of winter landscape. The light and shadows are good, note how the shadows moulds the shapes in the snow. I like the high sky. The bases of the trees make a fine triangle for the eyes to move around in.

Hi Rick,
I do like the tone of this one a lot...the nicely picked out details in the snow, the long shadows and the fine lines of the branches from the trees as they reach for the sky. It looks good in sepia and suits the applied frame. A good piece of work, very well executed! Well done. Vicky (UK)

I like the portrait composition too.
