Photographer's Note
At the Miami Metro Zoo.
This white tiger is one of it's main attractions, and it's located near the main entrance with two other ones that aren't white. At 1100 is their 'snack' feeding time: some balls of meat given by the tiger-keeper are eaten without any fight because she throws it towards each one.
The white tiger was, luckyly, very near the sidewalk, so I stepped on a bench and shot just after the last piece of meat with my 75-300mm at 300.
I did some PP, cropped, increased saturation 3%, USM slightly.

Excellent photo. I am glad that the tiger is not in the centre of the picture. The colours are fantastic as is the contrast between the white animal and the very greeen background. You got him at the exact right time with his tongue out. Well taken!

Rare! A white Tiger, a nice pause with big "hands" in front, a nice tongue mouvement. I guess you could not get this picture with a numeric camera, did you?

According to the look in its eyes and his tongue, you look very delicious!!!
Very good catch and very good composition, I think that the picture is little bit bright, there are some details in its fare that lost.

I like this capture with it's fun title, Jurgen. The albino really looks hungry and menacing. Like the compo and sharpness - his fur is very nicely captured and your 300mm brought you a great (shallow I should say ;-)) DoF. Very fine job!

Hello Jurgen!
A perfect timed picture! And a good humorous title:) The beautiful contrast between the white tiger and the blurry green background is perfect. A really nice DOF. And that you did not center the tiger was a good thing. Not making it a portrait but rather staging a nice and excellent scene! Love it!
