My eyes on U!, a photo from Texas, South

Photographer's Note

Whie taking photos of the little black spider, I looked around and saw this lizard peaking out from the siding of a mobile home, so I caught him looking. This lizard changes colors to match the background he is on but I guess he didn't have enough time. I like the gold around his eye. Hope you like this little surprise. :)

Very well seen. The eyes are wonderful, as well as the green skin's texture.
I can see you used a flash, but did you a use a red-eye tool?

I can't resist lizards! This little anole is nice and sharp, and seems to have a friendly smile! When shooting wildlife, you can't ask it to pose for you while you get the lighting right, and your light is very clear here, But that harsh shadow is a bit, well, harsh. I still like the shot, though, and I love his groovy colors.

Good capture of a split second moment - amazing the things we see when we're looking at something else! I like the detail and the personality caught here. Too bad for the shadows. Just had to have him in my lizard theme!
