I took this picture in The Cockrell Butterfly Center of the Houston Museum of Natural Science. It's a good place to discover the wonderful world of insects, with spectacular preserved specimens, and living examples of some of the world’s largest and weirdest arthropods.

Muy bella imagen con esta preciosa mariposa, me gusta como la has captado, vista de lado, con lo cual se distingue perfectamente el cuerpo, patas etc. y por supuesto el bello colorido de las alas, el fondo con esos verdosos tonos desenfocados es un buen complemento y destaca la nitidez del sujeto.

Yo a veces salgo al campo a fotografiar mariposas, pero no encuentro mucha variedad en la zona, debo de tener unas cinco distintas.
Me gusta mucho la pose de la mariposa y sus colores.
