Photographer's Note
By the 1870s the Cape Henry Lighthouse had major cracks in its sandstone. Newer lightghouses were built of cast iron, stronger than sandstone and taller.
In 1881 a replacement light house was built at Cape Henry in classical white and black paint patterns.

I wouldn't mind being the keeper of this lighthouse, it look grand. Good pov and dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.
I wanted to take pictures of the lighthouse in Avila Beach when I was at Pismo Beach last month but access was limited.
