I took this in Norfolk, Virginia. I noticed the beautiful landscape as I was driving by, couldn't pass up the opportunity to stop and capture it.

This image is wonderful in so many way, but what really makes it stand out, imo, is the fantastic shadow of the tree that totally dominates the ground. Excellent!

Very nice picture and it's a chance that you didn't mist it.
You have a very good eye because you put every thing at the right place on the picture, the tree on the side with branches on top living most of the image for the shadow and the emptiness of the field.

Very nice shot Stacey. I love the shadow of the tree. I might have cropped just a little off of the bottom, but in any case I think it's a great capture. Good job.

very nice sunrise in a very quiet & relaxing atmosphere... is typical of Virginia ?

you know if the branches on top could be cropped out , the photograph would remind me of the poster of the movie "big fish"
i love the long evening shadow and the beautiful landscape. most people would have made a horizontal composition in this one, with the tree on the side of the frame, probably the left one. your composition is so different and it's excellent. the grass looks really nice

The rising sun behind the tree is beautiful..
But the sun is over exposed...it would hav been
better if you could capture it, when the sun
is in the horizon.
