Sheltering Sky, a photo from Alaska, West

After entering my first traveloque on Alaska, I felt I had to add this picture. As nice as the sky looked during sunset, the next morning after opening the zipper of my tent, I found the whole valley being covered in snow.

What a surreal cloud. I like how the tents are spaced out so far away, nicely filling the framing at bottom. The orange blue colors of the tents are complimentary with the sky above. I'd prefer if the person (?) at bottom right were more visible, as it's a bit hard to tell on my monitor, but overall incredible shot.

Incredibly creamy cloud.

I would personnaly preferre the picture cropped vertically just on top of the tents that are distacting and btw located in a too dark zone.

I love the soft color palette in this image. You exposure is also good, capturing detail into the shadows. I like that there is a human element in this landscape photo, but that it is put into proper perspective against the heavens above.

The right under corner isn't clear enough to be of any value and disturbs the rest of this peaceful & isolated landscape, and to get rid of that little cloud too I would try a second version, cropping out the first 1/5th of the right.

The other 4/5th are just amazingly filled with wonderful colours! Another planet?

Wat een ontzettend mooie foto. Hier kan ik weinig meer aan toevoegen. Hoe maak je zo'n mooie rand om je foto?
