Taken last summer at the Grand Canyon, I converted in sepia this lonely tree rurrounded by beautiful nature, it was very hot but dry, so the ride was quite nice.

nice tone, makes image change into an old memory, or maybe it is just a part of old photo album...that tree is really well situated, i like the titel that fits perfectly

I have seen so many images of the Grand Canyon but this one made me stop and look. I like that it is sepia and I like the empty feeling that the lone tree gives--straight lines usually do not work but this somehow gives the feeling of enormity to the canyon.

Hi Pierre. Your foreground sure is strong with the tree. You might be able to up the contrast though. I've never seen a b/w of the Grand Canyon. Were you unhappy with the colors or just trying something new? tfs Pierre.

C'est un plaisir de retrouver ta gallerie, et en particulier cette originale contribution sur le Grand Canyon. On a l'habitude de voir l'endroit en couleurs et si celle-ci sont generalement tres esthetiques, cette version sub-sepia est vraiment interessante. Il aurait ete interessant, aussi, de pouvoir avoir une idee de l'original que tu pourrais eventuellement poster en ws... Mais c'est juste une suggestion!

Beautiful shot of a beautiful place! This has a nice near/far composition, which really gives it a sense of depth. I like the sepia tone too, which suits the subject. Great work!
