Photographer's Note

This is downtown LA in the afternoon on my commute home. The background is a hotel and a tree is in the parking lot. I live in LA for 20 years and find out that I know almost nothing about downtown until I got a job here. I hope you enjoy it.

hi kiet, nice shot and a nice title too, nice bright colours, though maybe i would have rotated it so the windows were horizontal, have you looked at it like this, i think it would look better and squarer, nice shooting though

Interesting picture. It's a nice idea to mix the graphic effect of the red background, and the dark trees on the foreground. Maybe the effect would have been even better if the lines had been less tilted...

very nice view, the tree under the shadows produce a nice contrast against the iluminated windows. Good colors, POV .

Smart use of the red building with the silhouette of the trees in the foreground. It might have turned out even better if you would have straightened the building horizontally.
