It does look like a macro shot of a green carpet. I usually find it difficult to produce really crisp images of swathes of trees on screen. This image, however, works for me because the detail is in the *big* picture, not in individual trees.
Little nit-pick: I would try to minimize the haze/mist, and boost the saturation levels a bit.
