Anenome, a photo from Oregon, West

Taken near DePoe Bay Oregon. The tide was out and I found this anenome in a tidal pool. The camera I used didn't have macro, but I got as close as I could.

I cropped it, and wondered if I should crop more (please offer your opinion). I sharpened it just a little.

Your image seems to be a little bit out of focus (maybe because of the lack of macro) and not very sharp. The colors look pail.
I think that your crop is fine, though.

I suspect the slight softness in focus could be due to the anenome being underwater at the time? Regarding the cropping, I would keep it as is - the colours of the surrounding rock and sand give this shot a nice semi-abstract feel, to me.
