A humorous note to finish on for a while. Tomorrow I leave for the US for two weeks, first week in California second week in Washington DC. All business so no free time, but ja........Going to observe the Election.
This was taken on my last visit to LA, Hollywood, just crossing the street and there was Superman with his groceries........only in America!

Even Superman has to cross the street when the traffic light is green, just like everybody else... Very American indeed! And the guy actually looks a bit like Christopher Reeve (who passed away recently). Thanks for sharing this scene; I'm sure I am never going to meet "Superman with groceries" on a normal day in The Netherlands.

Hi Elaine, great, at least I think it's great that you can go! And if you make use of your spare time, tyhe way you did in Beijing, you'll put your D70 to work again. Do you also have a telelens already? Well, have a greta time anyway
This is a funny picture, although I would expect him to fly! His red cape is nicely waving around his legs.

Maybe it wasn´t your intention but this could be a nice hommage to Christopher Reeves. He was a real superhero, more than Superman himself.

Indeed Elaine, superman became part of US culture and maybe funny to show here but you can't deny. You tried to work already in raw with your D70 ? That helps perfect to maintain an incredible unforced sharpness... ask John.

You should post this for Fall's Hunt prmary colors Elaine. This is one Superman, not only shopping he goes but voting too I suppose. Wonder what he votes for this Superman. Say Elaine, you should have gotten him when he was in a phone booth :)
