Photographer's Note
Suspension bridges... a clever and smart way to cross a river...
This one was shooted from the Brooklin bridge over the East River in New York City. The background bridhe is the Mahattan Bridge connecting Lower Manhattan (at Canal Street) with Brooklyn (at Flatbush Avenue Extension).
It was the last of the three suspension bridges built across the lower East River, following the Brooklyn and the Williamsburg bridges.
The bridge was opened to traffic on December 31, 1909 and was designed by Leon Moisseiff, who later designed the infamous original Tacoma Narrows Bridge that opened and collapsed in 1940.. but that is another story...

Hello Rui,
This is a type Baily bridge, as well as a lot use during the WAR II in Belgium about the canals.
We see perfectly the rust parts, become perhaps also these dangerous!.
Sharpness and clarity make this image very attractive.
Very well done, TFS.
Kind regards,
John

Olà Rui,
A famous place and an original shot with the elements of the Brooklyn bridge in the FG and the Manhattan bridge in the BG. Original and creative framing.
Amizades,
Roger

Ola dear Rui
There are so many superb elements to this photo. The first is the most obvious, the amazing saturation and colour. The next is the impressive perspective, particularly the vertical lines in the boardwalk below. And of course the sharpness and excellent depth of field in combination with fantastic light management.
TFS y um abraco

Interessante e inusitada perspectiva, gosto de entrever os prédios, tampados pelo parapeito, e ver parte da bicicleta, imaginando o mundo que se esconde. Parabéns pelo trabalho!
