Step off the plane in New York, and I found myself walking into a new dimension filled with smells, sounds, sights and people like you never imagined.

It's like walking into a giant movie set. You need at least two weeks - preferably four - as there's just far too much to see and do in a city that is the financial, publishing, artistic, theatrical, musical and gastronomic hub of the world.
Ask any New Yorker and they'll all say the same thing: this is the greatest city on Earth.
Indeed.. I must say….

Hello Rui,
It seems like you had a good time here in NYC. :-) I like this classic downtown view, and the small waves in the foreground. I have lived here my entire life and I never get tired of the views! You are very correct when you describe the city as a giant movie set...only with "real" people. ;-)

Muito bom o enquadramento, com as ondas no primeiro plano bem próximas e os prédios ao fundo. Ótima gestão de cores, também, com muito equilíbrio. Parabéns pelo trabalho!

Ola Rui,
Fabulous view of downtown NYC, and you know whats missing...The twins: becouse every time I was in Brooklyn(1974/1978)I saw the skyline with those two incredible towers.
The photo is marvelous, howevewr to my oppinion you allocated much pic.'s space to the river's water, I'd concetrate on the buildings with a bit more zoom( it's my taste only).

Excellent vertical composition very well balanced with the large FG (with the water well collected) which give depht and learn the glance to very graphic and interesting BG.

Hi Rui,

I really like your POV and the inclusion of the wave in the foreground. It works very well as a lead in to the sky scraper in the background. The vertical format is great choice and the photo is very well-composed. TFS and have a nice weekend!

Oi Rui!

Uma vista de Nova York, que é totalmente diferente, e talvez seja por isso que eu gosto tanto, a diferença na cor, pois dá um olhar diferente ... Eu realmente gosto de como ele é composto, com a grande massa de água que contrasta perfeitamente com o azul da cidade e do céu, nuvens, as cores rosa no céu adicionar uma cor interessante ...
