Photographer's Note
Another type of camping at the De Motte Campground, North Rim, Grand Canyon National Park. The 'popup tent trailer' is a popular camping method - providing haulable by vehicle camping. And a good camping advantage is it can be the 'base camp' while traveling.
And it is far more cheaper than a larger motorhome.

Hello, Ray!
The different tones of green and yellow of the leaves in the background are beautiful, and that's a very nice car/house! It must be really fun sleeping in a place like this, only with the noise coming from nature! Wonderful composition!

Hi Ray,
Cool little vehicle that I am not at all familiar with, I don't see these in Ireland. I like that you photographed it in it's natural habitat too, with great off centre setting for both. This looks like it would have a fair amount of space inside it. It almost looks like a little mini Swiss chalet on wheels! Nice one.
Cheers
Noel

Lovely photograph of the white trailer amidst the golden yellow leaves of Autumn.
The light from the right brightens the side of the trees and the effect on the trunks has been well captured.
Romantic autumn - "Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness" (Keats).
I do not however know how comfortable this kind of a 'tent-like' trailer would be. I would rather have the usual box shaped one, which would be more agreeable to me even if the length is as small. My logic says that instead of having sloping sides, I would prefer a box with a uniform height for the whole length, (without losing much on balance and visual appeal).
Thanks for sharing this beautiful photograph, Ray.

Hello, Ray!
Another fine Fall shot with wonderful saturated warm colors of gold and they contrast well against the pale blue shadows on the caravan at left to give a superb warm cold color contrast. I hadn't realized this area was so high. At over 8000 feet just before the Canyon coming from Flagstaff there were patches of snow on the ground in November. The rim of the Canyon itself is also very high at over 7000 feet. A nice spot to camp. Tfs.

Beautiful scene especially the fall colors. I just read in last Sunday's paper travel section about the North Rim, I'm tempted to explore the area during the fall. Good lighting and nice details. Very well done, tfs.

Hi Ray!
It must be a very nice way to travel and you framed it really well with the the trees. They were showing such beautiful colours then. Good light also!
