Photographer's Note
Was trying to frame a shot of the Washington Monument that wouldn't be trite and over-done. I kind of like how this turned out -- looks like the monument may be driving itself into the ground as easily as it could be jutting out of it. I kind of wish there were something more interesting in the foreground maybe.
Any ideas on this one are greatly appreciated. Thanks for checking it out.

An interesting composition, certainly different from the average snapshot, and one which I feel has potential. However there is way too much empty green space.
I'm not certain how I would have approached it. Perhaps go for a panoramic type shot by getting rid of all that grass at the bottom of the frame.
hmmm.... potential is there for sure but not quite executed as well as it could have been
