This gigantic boot belongs to the Boot Scoot 2007. Boot Scoot is a citywide contest that gives local artists and businesses an opportunity to decorate and paint 50-pound, six-foot-high and six-foot-long fiberglass boot sculptures. And this event is part of the 2007 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, from Feb. 27 to March 18.

Interesting event Edgar. I like the image showing an array of the artistic talent. I wish the tilt though in the building in the background had been corrected though. I am glad you managed to capture some people in your image. Shows how giant these boots really are.

Me agradan este tipo de fotos tan excentricas y llamativas. Se combinan el paisaje urbano con el arte, en una composición llena de colorido y contraste.
Lástima la inclinación del edificio del fondo, pero pienso que es algo inevitable

Hi Edgar,
It's both amusing and very attractive graphically. The people are well positioned and give a sense of the dimensions.
The inclination is a bit annoying, mainly because it is much evident on the building on the bg.
