Smokey Mountains, a photo from West Virginia, South

Photographer's Note

This photo was taken during our recent trip back from South Carolina. I don't honestly remember excatly where it was taken but believe it was in West Virginia? We were driving through the smokey mountians and I found it really interesting that they were indeed smokey!

That captures the mystery and mist so well and almost hides everything away from the view. I love the ay the mist forms layers in the air each with a different texture and hue. You have composed it well and have a great pov and perspective. The pastel colours are magical.

Hi Donna,

There is something about this that gives it a "painting" feel .. the saturation with slight softness maybe .. I really like it.

the fog really does gentle down the country, doesn't it!
I love the way the clouds cover the mountains and create a mountainscape of their own

the atmosphere is nice here Donna,
the pov is good and the quality of the photo is nice too, it is well framed and it is free of nois this is a very good photo job here, well done Donna.

Hi Donna, this is a nice surreal scene. I like how the clouds are enveloping the mountains, yet they're in layers so you still see a piece of that sky.
