Photographer's Note
This is a softer, less dramatic photo than many that you see on TE. These hydrangeas grow everywhere on Cape Cod in the summer. I love the combination of blue, purple and green and so took advantage when I saw these hydrangeas growing against a white fence.
My goal with this photo was to capture this one perfect blue bloom in sharp focus with the purple blooms behind it slightly out of focus. The macro setting on my camera accomplished this nicely. I also composed the shot by thirds.
As you can see from this and also the photo I posted yesterday, I had to make do with a lot of overcast weather on Cape Cod this year, which affected my choice of subjects. In general, I found that my nature shots on overcast days worked very well, but my beach shots not so much - the light was simply too flat.

Hello Nina,
To be sure, this type of the photo more perhaps fit on TN, but after the perusal of in-line to!! it the description I know, that this choice of arguments was right. I do not remember, whether lately I saw the blue hydrangea, but is this fantastic. Beautifully she tooks among the green of leaves and reds of her own sisters. About the lack of the sun I will say so: sometimes the will thick weather with the fringe than sunny with sharp contrasts uncontrollable.
Best regards,
Jurek
