Opera House and Sydney Skyline, a photo from New South Wales, East

Photographer's Note

I walked accros the Harbour Bridge to get this pic. I took several of them. This one had both, the Opera house and the skyline. I got some good pictures of the Opera house at night, I might put those up too at a later stage.

The picture didnt come out as well as I had hoped. Its a bit grainy. The wind was blowing and I didnt have a tripod, so I placed the camera on a piece of wood. I guess, it wasn't very stable, as the camera shook a bit when I clicked. :-(

Beautiful city lights you've got here Dinyar, done very well considering the difficult shooting conditions and lack of a real stable base. Exposure is very good-- much of the detail is retained.

===> Only major criticm would be that you've put Sydney in the wrong state! Sydney is in New South Wales, not Victoria mate :)

A good nighttime shot of Sydney harbour, Dinyar. I like the fact that you have shown the Opera House and the surrounding buildings. Lovely colours reflected in the water.

Nice night shot, but with a tripod you could explore better this shot and next time try a night shot with + - f/6 or f/7 and a tripod , i carry always a mini tripod .

In spite of the fact you didn't have a tripod, you managed well, Dinyar, I like the fantastic lights from the buildings, the reflections and also the clouds in the sky. A very nice one!

Right there I see a superb array of colors. Fantastic capture Dinyar. Taking night shot is very hard and inspite of the shake this one came out superb.
