Photographer's Note
This is a shot taken from inside the Glory Hole Cave. The many stalagmites and stalactites as well as the warm lighting made the cave very interesting.

Hello Claudia
I like caves and this one looks impressive.
Was there ny artificial light inside?if yes,the result will have been better not using the flash as the ceiling is quite dark and its reddish color is almost absent. You will need a tripod if allowed. If not,use a higher ISO,either 1600 or 3200 if avalaible and be sure to have the incamera noise reduction on.
I am adding your series to my theme on the underworld
Have a good day
Charles

Hey Claudia,
In caves I have been to such as the Jenolan, Waitomo and Girraween I have always found it hard to take a clear image in the gloom. In Waitomo, the boardwalk in one of the caves was under construction during my visit and on the day the workers uncovered a huge Moa skeleton. I wish I had a tripod with me to capture the massive remains, lit by torchlight in the darkness. A good range of depth is seen here, it is hard to understand a sense of scale. I like the gradient effect with the lighting. Well done.
Matt
