Hello Mics,

The shape of the building resembles a flying saucer, not necessarily a calming influence from the fast lane but the strutting ibis do calm things down, as do the people reading, in the sunshine!
You have achieved a sharp exposure on this scene with very different lighting conditions.

Hi Mics
Fascinating architecture but what really captures my attention are the ibis, posing, conveniently, in the sunny spots in the foreground. It so reminds me of my own, very short, stay in Sydney. We stopped at the traffic lights and an ibis landed in the middle of the street. It's one of my top memories from the trip to Australia.

This is a lovely city shot. I like the women sitting on the bench, the artwork to the right, the birds, and, of course, the very interesting structure in the center. It looks like a space ship that has quietly landed in the city! There's a nice play of light and shadow, and a nice mix of buildings in the background, too. Happy New Year!

Hi Mics
An interesting one from Wynyard Park in Sydney.
Those big birds (ibises) get called bin chickens in Sydney and are a real pest raiding waste bins, worse than pigeons.
