Eastern Rosellas are a medium sized parrot found in south eastern Australia. I found this one in Yarra Bend park feeding on a small bush. They are pretty shy birds and easily frightened off.

Beautiful sharp and clear capture of the bird. The colours are great, and he's not too covered with leaves or twigs...

Beautiful bird, Stephen! Its a kind of photo I would like to do! I love to catch birds, but it is difficult! Here the capture is great, full of nice details and wonderful colours! Excellent work!

Not too shy it seems. Australia is a heaven for bird photographers. Pity that I didn't have a proper tele on my visits. Excellent colourful portrait in the middle of rich green vegetation.
