Photographer's Note
More back roads photos. Binda is a tiny town in a corner of the Southern Tablelands of NSW and another new one for TE. It was never very big. Just outside of town was this remains of an old farm house. It consisted of just 2 bare stone rooms and originally probably had a timber kitchen out the back.
Today it sits lonely in the middle of a brown sheep paddock, a paddock that should be green at this time of year (spring/summer) but the pasture has totally dried off in the drought.
Best in the large view.

Bonjour, cher Ian,
De cette maison, il ne reste plus que quatre murs et des baies laissant passer le vent chaud.
Son emplacement est de toute beauté. L'herbe jaunie implique une période de sécheresse.
Amitiés.

Hello Ian, beautiful but sad view of this abandoned place. Difficult to imagine that it could be green and with sheep grazing Terrible view of the draught. Impressive big gum trees.
Kind regards MAlgo

Hello Ian,
Your photograph seems symbolic of the difficult times that Australia is facing at the moment with droughts and wild fires!
It is plain to see how the land is suffering.
Your photograph has lovely clarity and fine, sharp details.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Ian
Let's hope they get some good rain soon. It's long overdue. This looks more like the countryside around Wagga Wagga, Albury / Wodonga & Goulburn in summer where such browned off grass is more normal. The 2 old trees nicely overshadow the ruined homestead. Tfs!
