Photographer's Note

3 days ago I posted a photo of the dam wall of Burrendong Dam which is only 3% full.
This photo is from the other end of the lake where old farms were drowned when the dam was built. You can see where the water reaches when the dam is full - up to the modern tree line.
On the right is a stone farm house that has re-appeared as the water level fell as well as several fence lines.
The area behind where I took the photo from is a camping and cabin area which is popular with boat and fishing folk.
In the workshop is a photo of a high and dry boat launching ramp as well as a photo of the parched bottom of the lake.
The tree skeletons beside the water are trees (eucalypts) that were covered with water after the dam was built.

Best in the large view.
