Back roads: Mullion Creek, a photo from New South Wales, East

Photographer's Note

Mullion Creek is a small community (strangely without a creek) north of Orange in the central west of NSW. It is another back roads settlement and, once again a new one for TE.
On the edge of the town is this very large old wool (shearing) shed, no longer in use. It is the Kangaroobie Wool Shed and was big enough to have 32 shearers working at one.

Hello, Ian, Another new place on the TE map but who not living in Australia could go there? I would be happy to see some of these remote places. From the date, I see that you have made this trip quite recently. Interesting long shed and beautiful old gum tree. What has happened to the sheep? Aren't they there any longer?

Indeed I've never seen on TE, but your series out this country is absolutely interest.

Bonjour Ian,

Ce genre de construction se retrouve souvent dans de grands espaces comme dans l'ouest américain ou canadien. Maintenant, elle génère de la rouille qui lui donne de belles textures.
