Photographer's Note
I took this shot on a hill somewhere in the Tasmanian wilderness outside of Cradle Mountain. It was a bitterly cold day, just a few days after the first day of spring. To get pictures of this area, I had to walk up a steep hill on a path that was under several inches of cold water. However, I spent nearly 45 minutes on this hill trying to capture the place. I chose to take this shot because I wanted to contrast the barren wilderness and the gloomy sky with the beautiful trees on the hillside.

I like this picture Michael. Very good composition and the beautiful captured trees in the foreground give a good perspective.
Very well done.

Belle réussite cette photo, l'arbre est placé au bon endroit, les couleurs sont superbes. L'image est clair et nette. J'aime beaucoup le contraste créé par les couleurs du ciel et les montagnes.

Four leveled landscape with each their own curves brightness and texture all together in one view with true colors and a precious silver tree on top ... that's a real job of the eye of a photographer ! Excellent Michael.
