Hello Arnie,
a lovely and interesting image that has also, in my opinion, a poetic dimension. The simple composition and the sense of space around the lone tree are very effective. I think that your composition would work even better if you placed the tree more to the right, to comply with the rule of thirds and mostly to exalt its shape. The limited palette and the moody atmosphere are very fine. Another option would be a monochrome treatment that would render the scene more dramatic, maybe and if you wished to express something like that. congratulations and thank you!
